## About Me
Navy veteran with a strong background in IT, sales, and e-commerce. What drew me to cybersecurity was the same curiosity I had as a kid—taking things apart and putting them back together. That habit evolved into a passion for understanding and securing systems.

I believe security professionals shouldn't be confined to a single discipline. Real security requires a holistic understanding of how systems interact — across networks, applications, users, and infrastructure. That’s why I make it a point to study as many areas as I can.

## 📖 Background
Serving aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, a steam-powered aircraft carrier, I learned to appreciate how systems work together. After the Navy, I took sales and management roles in the IT, automotive, and fitness industries, eventually launching and running e-commerce businesses that blended my interests in fitness and technology.

Around 2021, I shifted toward cybersecurity, with strong interests in network security and identity and access management. I have a large private cloud lab, so those areas came naturally to me. Today, I’ve developed an appreciation for all areas of cybersecurity, but I find the most enjoyment in building and configuring secure systems.
